So earlier today, Blair
This is obviously a sponsored tweet. You don't go and rave about a company that no one has heard of, then say that you shouldn't get confused over the sign up, then say that they are having a big sale! She didn't fut "(Ad)" at the end of the tweet, so she could get in a lot of trouble for that. She then denies that it wasn't a sponsored tweet after lots of people, including me, called her out on it:
What do YOU think? Is it a sponsored tweet? Or was it really just her raving about a company we've never heard of?
I saw that! It was sooooo shady!
ReplyDeletei wonder who told her they were having a 50% sale?
ReplyDeleteand plus elle posted an (ad) right after that.
I want to squeeze the life out of a stress ball when Kalel mispronounces things. This week it's "dazzle" - she says DAH-zle. Like PAHL-et (palette) and metHAL-ic (metallic) . What is with that? Does it bother anyone else, or am I alone in my psychosis? lol ;)
ReplyDeleteHmm. It'd be stupid of her to shout that out if it really was sponsored, because now it's getting face time and she'd be at a greater risk of getting in trouble. However she may just be working with the company. That is different than a sponsored tweet. If she is not directly getting paid for the tweet, it's not technically an ad.
ReplyDeleteHowever I hope if I was ever 'famous' I'd still be aloud to share/rave about new things I liked. :(
The url she posted doesn't seem to work...?
ReplyDeleteBF = blair fowler. obviously it was sponsored
ReplyDeleteyou know how she was like oh wow someone just tole me that you can get 50% off with the code "BF2010' well BF = blair fowler.
ReplyDeleteif it was sponsored it would have (ad) on it unless she tweeted it herself. does she even do sponsored tweets? i actually ordered from that website and BF must stand for black friday.
ReplyDeleteBF = Ben Franklin. Obviously he sponsored it. o_0
ReplyDeletehmm, their rates can be found from the sponsored tweets company page and: thesnowballeffekt.blogspot.com
